Why a Dream Group now?

I suppose we always live in chaotic times, but these days it seems to be even more so.  Dream group is an old-fashioned getting together that gives us a time-out from our generalized world view.

We just might want to relax our sense of doership and participate in the mystique of co-emergent activity known as group dreamwork.  After all, we are actors on the stage of life, here for a short time, mostly falling under the duplicity of believing we are a separate self, with control of our lives as individuals.  Closer to the way of things, if there are really things after all, is that we are experiential flowing energies, arising and falling, forming and dissolving, attempting to continue thinking we are in control when the rug is constantly being pulled out from under us.  As we live in our made up egoic structure, based upon our family of origin, the culture in which we find ourselves, trying to mesh our fantasy of how things are with the actuality of lived experience, we continually fail: physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually; any attempt to control the situation eventually falls fallow to the every changing flow of events and we find ourselves adrift within ourselves, crying in the wilderness for help when the truth of the situation is continually presenting itself in our face, as our face, in the present moment, over and over again.
