Spring Equinox Yoga & Sound Healing

Mats and props will be provided, and you are also welcome and encouraged to bring your own. Being super comfortable is part of the experience so if you have a special pillow or "blanky" please feel free to bring it! Join Freyr Murrish and I for a special class this week as we weave movement and music to create a relaxing, introspective, healing, and rejuvenating journey in celebration of the Spring Equinox. The theme for the class is balancing the dark and light energies within yourself to create fertile ground for new growth , along with planting and cultivating new "seeds" or intentions that will blossom and bear fruit as we move forward into the Spring & Summer Seasons. We'll be practicing Restorative & Hatha Yoga postures along with breathwork, guided meditation, and chanting accompanied by the soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, bells, handpans, chimes, rainsticks, and other sacred instruments.  An extended Savasana Sound Bath will close out the practice, immersing you in vibrations and frequencies that can reset, balance, and activate key energy centers in the body, thereby helping to relieve pain, lift depression, ease anxiety, and bring our body, mind, and spirit into greater alignment and coherence. This state of harmony allows you to be more present and aware. When you are in a state of coherence, your body can heal itself and function at its optimal level. Refreshments will be served following the practice, and we'll have some time to celebrate together as a community.
